use of interior portable heater during storage

Anyone with experience using a portable electric heater during storage to prevent water line/tanks from freezing? Coastal Oregon If it would prevent freezing would be much simpler than winterizing...

The heater will help with the humidity, but the heat won't get down to the bottom of the tanks or some other places that could freeze such as your drain valves.
