use of interior portable heater during storage

Anyone with experience using a portable electric heater during storage to prevent water line/tanks from freezing? Coastal Oregon If it would prevent freezing would be much simpler than winterizing...

Sorry not a good idea as some exposed lines & drains may still freeze in adition to water heater. I blow air through lines, anti freeze in drains and still run small heater on timer to keep canned food from freezing
