The grabbing is a breakdown of the gear lube as seen in my Blackstone report. Could be why AMZ/OIL recommends the 75/110 over the 75/90.
I suspected breakdown of the lube was the reason for that issue. I`m sure the Amsoil will do much better even in the 75/90 but time will tell I guess. Did you post your Blackstone report? I would be interested in seeing it.

This is the original fluid with 24K+ miles. Seems most are experiencing "grabbing" at the 20K mark as I was.

I agree that the elevated metals are due to break in and the bigger issue is the breakdown of the oil. Mine started the grabbing at about 20k kms.
Have you towed with your truck since changing the fluid?
I am planning to do a shake down pull soon but it won't be long enough to really heat things up. Won't be seriously losing until next month, will report then.
