- tatestExplorer III'm not sure it is a great price since I know where to get a brand new Sierra crew cab dual rear wheel cab-chassis for about that money. It looks like a high price for a high-mileage two year old truck, almost $10K too high, but maybe the used truck market is a lot different in Florida than it is in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas.
Like somebody else said, $43K is about the out-the-door price for a crew-cab diesel Tradesman (in white only), through the fleet sales manager and the local Dodge/Chrysler/Ram dealer. - crcrExplorerThat's way more than I would pay for that truck, but to each his own. You might check out a volume discount Ram dealer quite a few on this forum have bought from: Dennis Dillon Ram
Their website is showing 3500 4x4 Ram Laramie's for $47-49K. I have no affiliation with this dealer, and haven't even bought from them -- I'm just aware of their volume prices.
As some have said, you can get a brand new truck for that price, and a Laramie for perhaps a few thousand more. Is it 4x4? That option makes a big difference in price. - drittalExplorer117k may not be a lot of miles on a diesel, but what about everything bolted to and around it????

For me, it's too close to a new truck price to consider it even if I did have 40+ grand to blow on a truck.
This is pretty much the key bit, in my opinion.
For comparison, I paid a little over $50k for my new '16 3500 Big Horn, equipped exactly the way I wanted it. Not cheap, but roughly in line with what they cost these days.
Is a new warranty, and 117k fewer miles, worth $7k? In my book, yes. Sure, I don't have the leather seats, but I'd guess most other options are comparable. - braindead0ExplorerDo not use NADA for pricing. It's owned by the National Automobile Dealers Association.. there's a huge conflict of interest there. KBB is just as bad, owned by the same parent company as AutoTrader.
Edmunds.com is much more likely to be accurate as far as real sales prices. You don't say if it's 4x4, what bed length, cab size.. but guessing at those things I got roughly $32,000 for private party sales price in my area. - Chuck_thehammerExplorera truck New of 50k..
and lots of miles at 43k...
go NEW. or PASS. - WalabyExplorer III paid 37K for a 2014 2500 with only 17,000 miles on it.
A 2015 with over 100K miles for that price just seems too much to me. I totally get that 100K+ miles is not a 'big deal' for diesel's, but remember, the rest of the vehicle has the same amount of miles.
Mike - CalicajunExplorerSeems priced high to me and I own a 2015 Ram CTD. The 100k miles on the engine may not be much in diesel life but that is a lot of use (wear and tear) on the rest of the truck. Seats wear out, carpet gets wore, shocks wear out and lots of other parts on the truck other than the engine wear out.
- Bionic_ManExplorerI don't think that is a lot of miles for the truck, but I do think it is a lot of miles for the price. Personally, I think if you looked for something with a few less options you could like get new for not much more $$$.
- bbaker2001ExplorerI too paid only 41000 OTD for 2015 tradesman. mine came with many extras camera--backup monitor--chrome--
not sure I would go that high
good luck looking.
love my truck
