Uses for Truck Camper other than camping

Ours has been used as the spare bedroom when there is too much company, as the cookhouse/storage facility while tailgating, temp housing/cooking when the power is out for an extended time, and most importantly as the "doghouse" when in trouble or hiding from the wife!!

We use ours as a living quarters while helping our son with his two children . Their mother left town !

Im in south Florida so we get alot of family that visit so I put them in the camper. Our house was a 4 bedroom but we converted it to a two bedroom.

I have used it during a BBQ challenge twice now.

Other uses for the TC? Let's see...

1. Emergency Shelter (Bug Out Scenario)
2. Living Quarters while visiting family/friends.
3. Living Quarters while taking care of ailing family. My wife did this for several weeks earlier in the year while she took care of her father.
4. Office for work.
5. Man Cave :)

Amen, sista! That is why I wanted it. Also, the hotels in his daughters' area do not allow dogs!

Any time I'm sleeping in my TC, I'm camping!

Sometimes it's on my own driveway when the visiting family wants to stay up late. Sometimes it's when I visit my folks just 30 miles up the road though they have 2 extra bedrooms.

Once it was staying over at my daughter's horse trainer just so I would reduce my drive time to the show by 50 minutes in the morning.

When I know work is going to get rough and stressy, I'll take it to work. Just knowing the TC is in the parking lot reduces the stress level. And if that isn't enough, a 5 minute mental break is so much more beneficial when I go out and sit in it.

Have used it 3xs as living quarters after major storms,as much as weeks at a time until power was back up..

Good thread...we use our TC for so many different activities. As bob noted I have stayed in ours while DW was in Hospital, we use ours for days at the beach, home base while hiking/biking, staying over at Friends houses, portable kitchen/bathroom for day trips, even stayed in our TC when we lost power due to hurricanes.

We use the TC is so many more ways than we would our TT.
