@bondebond eek, good point about the vinyl! Our trailer was made in 1983 so cracking vinyl is probably a real concern. We're definitely minimalist campers (hence never having used an electrical site before). Up until now all of our gear has fit in the back seat/space of a Jeep TJ Wrangler. The switch to the PUP was so that we'd stop having to deal with hanging soaking wet tents and tarps up around our apartment to dry. I'm super jealous of homeowners who have space to air things out! Hopefully we'll find a house in the spring. Our house hunt is on hold for the moment because we don't want to move in the winter. We won't be putting gadgets and gizmos into our trailer - that's just more stuff to worry about breaking or failing on you. We still plan on using non-electrical sites in the summer (they offer more privacy and better views).
