There was a member of this Forum that over-wintered in Western ND. He fully skirted the trailer and insulated the drains/water supply so that plumbing didn't freeze.
He installed two temperature gauges and two heat lamps underneath his trailer. He was getting readings of 65f underneath the trailer at ambient 0f. The weeds and grass growing underneath were estimated to be a problem with the lights so he sprayed weed killer underneath. I advocated for a small veggie garden but maintenance of the garden would be tedious. FWIW, he used sheets of extruded polystyrene to skirt the trailer. IIRC, it was 2".
