first YOU do NOT test an alternator into a battery...
you go into a carbon pile.... and a small battery to turn ON the alternator.
Makes sense Chuck. In my case I am more interested in what is actually making it into the battery and when it is no longer worth running the motor for charging. To this end I am thinking of adding an 80 amp inline meter I have in line with and just before the battery. Wwhat are ylour thoughts on this. It doesnt have to be that accurate, just give me a sense of whats happening. Thanks in advance.
