Vancouver Island with the TCer

I may have a chance to head to Vancouver Island next month (April) with the Tcer. I was thinking of heading to Victoria and going whale watching for a day but was wondering if there is any place around the south or south east part of the island that I could take the TCer to that I could get close to the ocean for a night or two of boondocking? Not looking for a 4x4 road as such, even a nice campground would work but want to be on the ocean.
