Benk, I understand everything your saying and what you spelled out. I'm going by what weight rating is on door not manufactures which, yes, is different. But I just have seen a lot of people not giving credit to the Ram 1500 or other vehicle in general so I just thought I would point this out. That even with lower axle weight ratings on the F150 that they say it can haul more, just doesn't sound right.
Are halfton trucks the perfect tow vehicle? Yes and No! They can be if you load them properly and use them as they were intended. This was also another way of me pointing out to others that they need to make they're own judgments and not take everything at face value bc as you can see on your reply and mine that things arent as they seem
Yes the gvwr is kinda sad bc a Grand Cherokee has a 6800lbs weight rating.
