IOWA...For 2010 and newer trucks <10K weight,
(Pertains to all vehicles where the registration fees are based on weight and list price of the vehicle.)
The formula is calculated as follows: $0.40 per hundred pounds of vehicle weight, plus Percent of List Price as follows:
Model Years Old
1 - 7 years old: 1.00%
8 - 9 years old: 0.75%
10 - 11 years old: 0.50%
Sales tax is 5%.
No additional annual "property" taxes or inspection fees.
