Venture Sonic

Hi all,
I'm currently looking at a 2017 Venture Sonic 22VRB. It has an interior height of 81" and it is one of the tallest I have seen. I'm 6'2" and it seems like it will fit the bill. I have not seen it in person yet, only photos online. Question is does anyone have this brand that can give me an idea of quality of this brand? Do you like yours?Does it have a decent track record? It has a murphy bed which I am not opposed to but wonder if in general they can be folded up while made up or do you have to remake the bed each night? Other pros or cons to a murphy bed? Thanks.

CON: Lack of cargo storage space compared to an travel trailer with a conventional queen front island bed with storage below AND a large front pass through cargo compartment. Discussion here.

RE: The Murphy bed. It is stored made up. The ones I've seen have a couple of straps that hold the bedding in place while the bed is in the upright and folded position.

A Murphy bed does open up a lot of interior space, along with, usually a sofa underneath, during the day. But as with any decision involving a RV, there is a compromise involved.

Most Murphy beds cause you to lose the storage space under the permanent queen bed, plus the past through storage accessed by the exterior storage doors.

I have noticed that now the designers have begun giving a modicum of exterior pass through storage. Whether this is the case for a 2017 Sonic, I don't know.

Hi, did you wind up buying the Sonic? I am looking at a 2017 Sonic VRB190 and having a hard time finding reviews on venture travel trailers… Just wondering if you like the trailer overall?

    Hello,
No I did not buy the Sonic. On closer inspection it did not seem to be that well made. I wound up getting an IGO. PM me and I will get more specific if you want.
