Yes, 1200lbs isn't much. My Cherokee Is 32ft and has a very large 4100lb CCC! I only use about 2k lbs of that. I have 2 kids, I can't imagine how little you would have to pack to keep it under 1200lbs. And besides, I don't think i'de want to push the limits of a trailer! THey are already questionable as is!
