Actually, the vehicles met the safety requirements in place when they were built. Chrysler was correct to push back.
My 69 Dodge Super Bee had a flat gas tank under the trunk and a fuel filler out the back license plate. It was my daily driver up until 5 years ago. Why was it not recalled?
Another exciting day when travelnutz can get all pumped up when something bad about Chrysler shows up.
That fuel tank design (filler behind the plate) ran until 1996 on some cars!
