In my past, there's been a few sellers who "screwed me". Some private sellers, and dealer sellers told half truth and in the end, I got screwed. And in the future, I'll probably get screwed again. Sad to say but true. In today's times, some folks purposely hold back full truth and others take full enjoyment in screwing others. Not all, but some get an emotional thrill of screwing others. These folks probably got screwed in their past and feel its ok to screw others - to pay it forward. These folks hide it well...
When I recently sold my trailer (via private sale), I gave the buyer full 30 days warranty. If fridge, stove, oven, etc. etc. stopped working, I'd pay to fixing it. After 2 weeks purchase, I even sent email asking if all is still good. And 30 days later, I even followed up with final check email. And, I offered to come back in the fall to show them how to properly close it (for winter storage). An inclusion service to save them dollars. The same treatment I want to be treated - if I bought the TT from them.
Long mumblings short... There are some folks who purposely screw others and there's some folks who treat others better then they should. Hit / Miss in any sales transaction (regardless of the industry)...
