Not all people that drive SXS speed and or do damage to the environment and trails. Like the USA up here in Canada people will do things that others don’t like and do the damage to the environment, race around at high speeds and those people just make for a bad day for everyone.
There are thousands and thousands and thousands of miles of logging and abandon mining roads around that you can ride on. I’ve only taken my SXS to Utah to ride in Moab and only watched people ride while wintering in out truck and camper east of Yuma so I can’t comment on to much about ridding experiences or what’s required to ride in different states.
However up here in BC you are required to have your Off Road Vehical registered with out with out insurance, you are required to have public liability insurance to ride in any BC Crown Land ( logging roads and abandon mining roads) you are required as of this spring to have spark arresters on any and all ORV’s again there are people that don’t follow the rules up here in BC just like down there in the USA, and those are the bad apples that make us all look bad.
My wife and I can go out ridding and have put on 120 kms on a nice leaserly all day ride, and not run into another person. We don’t race , we enjoy the environment we are ridding in we pack a lunch or I pull out the cook stove and cook up some Smokies and we just sit and watch and listen to the world go by. It’s beautiful out there, but like I’ve said and others on here there are Yacks everywhere you go.
