What I did with mine was I replaced the filament bulbs with LED's so I never have to worry about changing them, coated the bases of the bulbs with di-electric grease before I inserted them, than I sealed the lenses to the bases with RTV silicone so no water can get in, ever.
And yes, my bases were installed upside down with the weep holes facing up. Typical numb nut RV workers.
Don't matter now though, all sealed up. The LED's should outlast the camper anyway. I used good ones (CREE) not the cheapo Amazon ones.
