Had one of these Allstate brand campera and believe it was made by Nimrod. The canopy over the entry of the Viking Express is a nice addition. Great times with this camper.

Interesting. 2012 puts it. after Forest River acquired Coachmen and the Viking brand, but never saw it advertised in a big way. Folding tent trailers like this have been a fringe market served only by small manufacturers for many years now, growing recently as motorcycle camper seek more comfort than a tent, an smaller cars become more popular. I wonder if it was a marketing experiment, with limited distribution?

I could go for something like that at the right price, as it gets more diificult to rise from a bed on the floor of my tent to what passes for standing with 4 foot of head room.

Technically, 303 Aerospace Protectant is actually specified for use on vinyl. Per the bottle,

Vinyl & leather interiors, plastic bumpers, fender flares, trim and lenses, car bras, tonneau covers, vinyl soft tops & plastic windows, chrome and alloy wheels, synthetic and natural rubber, inflatable boats, wet/dry suits, tires, door & trunk seals and under-the-hood rubber, RV EPDM rubber roofing, fiberglass RV's, boats, truck caps, motorcycles/ATV's/Snowmobiles, PWC's. Also for motorcycle gear, helmets, visors, goggles, patio furniture, spa and pool covers, vinyl liners & pool inflatables, vinyl & leather furniture, jackets, handbags, golf bags. Not for unfinished leathers (such as suede), fabric (canvas) or flooring.

I've used it with great success on the bag awning cover (vinyl) and the vinyl and Sunbrella components and tires of my PUP. I am quite pleased with how it works on all areas, both to protect from UV damage and to repel water. Obviously, time will tell but except for the aging before I got it, the PUP is still in great condition and actually looks better than when I first got it.

By all means, use or do not use where appropriate.

I wouldn't use any 303 Arespace Protectant unless Viking recommends. The tent is vinyl coated so it's alreay waterproof and putting any type of chemical not recommended could destroy the thin vinyl coating. This isn't sunbrella uncoated fabric. It's the same vinyl coated fabric used on their other pop ups.

What kind of information are you looking for? It is a pretty minimal set-up so I'm not sure what it is you're after. If you've set it up, then you've covered everything except axle and tire maintenance, and possibly water proofing the canvas as needed with 303 Aerospace Protectant.

Lil Max campers are very similar as well. I really like them. I thought it would be really nice to have one to push back into the woods where a normal size camper can't get into.

We camped next to a guy with a Lil Max and boy did he have the gear loaded on top of it. The cargo carrier of the camper holds a lot of gear securely.

Oh my gosh that looks just like the Appleby camper we had back in the 1970's. Do a Google search for Appleby Camper for some history of the design.

I just looked it up. It basically looks like a tent with hard floor, beds and a table on a small trailer. Does it have air conditioning?
