Vintage Towing -- Testing the Waters

Seals could definitely be an issue down the road, but this truck (believe it or not) has a crate motor that was sitting sealed for 3 decades. A factory replacement that was sent by Mazda to a dealership that was lost in the warehouse. When it was restored (see photos above) everything was done right. Hoses, belts, etc are all new. I've put about 5,000 miles on it since then and done a few longer drives and it runs smooth. Does it burn oil? Yes...its supposed to though. I add about 1qt every few fill ups. Does it leak anything? Nope. Engine bay is clean enough to eat off it...but that doesn't mean something won't break. I plan to install a few extra gauges to monitor things closely. I know the dash thermostat works, but I don't know how accurate it is.
