I like the truck the way it is!! The lower centre of gravity is a big plus (handling and stability) for vehicles used for towing. The performance tires too a big advantage. With the small types of trailers you are considering tongue weight is not much so no big deal. Note our TV is a G35 that is low and has V rated performance tires. Works great.
The fact the rotary Mazda won at Le Mans in 91 is a huge undertaking. 700HP and running hard for 24hrs is a very respectable feat.
