And it jsut sounds ghey (no pun intended).
Although from the likes of some folks, "camping", it will probably be a big hit!
Case in point, the guy next to us at Pend Oreille last year.
His Titleist hats and polo shirts with a popped collar weren't enough to judge him (at least officially, lol) and neither was his Momentum, Magnum, Mangina...whatever the new 5ver toyhauler was that he was sporting. (The only toy was a battery operated "dirtbike" that his kid who looked to be about 7 years old was not quite coordinated enough yet to ride very well.)
But then when he started asking us about trucks saying he was headed over to Seattle for a new F2fiddy he found with a bitchin 6" BDS lift and 37s with American Force wheels, to haul his camper, while leaning against a virtually new F150... I had to ask.
How'd you get the Mangina mansion here? He said, had it delivered, aint it cool?
I said yeah bro, it's a bitchin as the brodozer you're about to overpay for, can I have a tour?
He said yes as soon as I get done setting up this outside shower...that he was pulling out of the Amazon delivery box.
I asked, why the outside shower, no shower in that beauty?
He said, no it's got 2 bathrooms, but with no sewer hookup here, the gray water tankS (yes tanks plural) fill up way too fast and well he don't have a truck to hook it and go dump yet, such an inconvenience...And the local turdburglar charges $70 a pop to dump and at a couple times a week that gets expensive you know...
So I was like ok, why not just dump the gray on the grass if you're showering on the grass anyway? I mean, that's what I do, looks like you're just cutting out the middle man in this operation...
He was like well that's dirty AND GROSS to dump your water like that.
I'm almost ROFL by now. But I jsut choked back the laughter and said just make sure your don't pee while your in the outside shower then!
As we took the tour of the mansion on wheels (it was really nice, I'm not knocking that, I'd totally have one, once we could justify using it enough), he starts showing off all the features, you know remote control fireplace, 2 baths, postupedic bed, whatever the one is that adjusts one side for your bony @ss and the other for your wife/or husband if you're into that sort of thing.
But then he starts having some buyers remorse saying he sure wishes it had the remote powered ramp door/back deck gizmo because it's really inconvenient to have to raise and lower that big door by hand, and how the 42" flat screen is really not in the right spot because it's hard to see from the back deck, etc, you know, things like that that are real deal breakers for camping.
Anyway, I could see a voice command operated "camper" in this fellas future and probably many other folks like him.
