  • I’ll pass on voice control in my TT. And what would that cost in amp hours?
  • I personally find those things creepy. Don't want one in my house either.
  • Remember when we went camping to get away from it all?

That already exists. It's called a bidet.

Whats next? A voice controlled toilet that rolls up to your bed so you don't have to get up at night? :B:B

If someone actually developed such a device, I'd buy one in a heartbeat! :E Only it also have an automated "wiping" device on it .... uhhh..laaaa...laaa! :E
  • The us rv industry has a difficult enough time producing an rv that doesn’t leak and makes it to a dealership fully functioning and having everything still attached and for the most part can’t support its customers after a purchase so why would they go down this road
? who’s going to fix your automated rv when it fails and it will . I would rather have the basics of an rv done right and improved quality rather than more bells and whistles that really are not needed in an rv , just saying,
    .
  • Most of us here can likely remember having to actually get off our fat butts and turn a dial to change the channel......

And when I'm at a lake somewhere enjoying time in the TT, I'm not afraid to get up to adjust the lights or turn on some music...

I really think this voice controlled, automated everything is going just a bit too far. And who knows how much these devices spy on us, report back to somebody every time we burp or scratch our behinds....

  • That would give me a major inferiority complex.

My laptop is smarter than me, my phone, my TV and soon my truck.

My wife is smart -- or smart aleck, and that is still a toss up but most likely she will win.

Now, I'll have a TT that's smarter too?
  • I admit, I have never found this technology that interesting to begin with. At home, I find a remote works just fine. And I don't risk Alexa going off on a psychotic rage and trying to kill me (that's what they always do in the movies). If I don't need it in an 1100sq ft home, then I don't need it in a 100sq ft RV.
