I had a 2002 6.0 w/4-speed and 4:10 gears before my current Dmax and hated that thing for towing. Pulling my 8Klb bumper pull toyhauler through the hills was a chore and spent most of its time in 2nd gear watching the gas gauge drop. I think most who are happy with their 6.0 gassers towing decent weight have to be flatlanders.
