Silly business.
I'm an engineer and have to abide by policy and procedures we and other agencies create or we are penalized by any number of agencies we are certified by.
EPA sets policy for all OEM's to adhere to...and if they cannot test their own rules...then they cannot possibly enforce them.
If the EPA really did have their funding cut, which I am all for, then their power to create tighter rules and their power to enforce said rules...ALSO GET REDUCED.
I didn't foresee this thread getting too political...but the topic really is.
