Fair enough, I was light on VW in my commentary due to my displeasure with the EPA. IMO, VW should receive one of the largest fines in history if this is proven in court.
And yes, fire the lazy cop if he was sleeping while the crook committed a crime in front of his nose!
VW did this right in front of the EPA for 6 years before they got caught. Caught for something they monitor DIRECTLY even before these engines went into production and were allowed to be sold here. There is no excuse for this in my book.
And the "FIX" coming...will very likely affect performance. Not so clear on MPG.
