Amen to that. I remember the 70's driving into the LA basin and not seeing any mountains...because you couldn't, the smog was that thick. 40 years later we have 10 times the vehicles and a lot cleaner air. :)
That was due partly to Ford's 1973 emission test violations, they were fined $7 million back then... wonder how much that is in today's dollar?
Not the first time for VW to get caught, they weren't the first or the only ones...:(
