No mention yet of the 3.0L TDI engine some of us on here have in our Touareg TDI's. I hope it is not rigged like the 2.0L's. I like it exactly the way it is now and I'm guessing that any update is going to either affect DEF fluid usage, MPG, power, or all 3. Apparently the 3.0 will be retested though, so we will find out eventually.
I have to admit this whole thing really sours me toward the VW brand. Even though I'm very happy with the vehicle, resale value just plummeted. It will take years to get rid of the stigma, just like Audi back in the 80's. I've got 85K on it now, and I'll probably have to keep it until it dies.
