It's amazing how many miles you can rack up around town although a bad day for us tends to be around 80 or 90 KM. This is why malls would benefit from putting in charging stations to attract business. Having said that we really haven't been in a need to charge situation yet other than at home. More are starting to pop up though. City halls and colleges seem to have charging stations fairly commonly but they are not always located anywhere close to where we shop. It will evolve.
