Wow another great Whazoo trip report!
This is what keeps me checking back in on the TC forum. Even though my Truck and Camper have been gone a while now TC trip reports are worth a look. Especially the great Whazoo's.
Humans sure got it right for once building the Glen Canyon Dam. It is an improvement on nature. Whazoo your pictures clearly prove it.
The fact that the Colorado dams have ended dangerous and damaging flooding. Plus the stored water has been a godsend in the last few years of Southwest drought.
As one of the few old timers to have hiked the Lake Powell area before the dam and boated over the same areas after the dam filled let me say I love the Lake. Water has only enhanced the beauty for me.
Thanks Whazoo for the darling picture of your life's bonus. Grandkids are truly a bonus.
