As you have learned TT MFG warranties are non-transferable. Extended warranties are transferable. However neither cover for water intrusion (leaks). Caulking and seams are considered a maintenance item. Even new TT only cover against leaks for 90 days. I assume you are concerned about a roof warranty for leak reasons--if so that is all on the owner.
