Warranty work wouldn't deter me from buying from another state. There may be a small army of service centers and independents near you that are authorized to perform warranty work. Sometimes the manufacturer will contract with a local facility to perform one off warranty claims. Check with the manufacturer to find out how warranty claims are handled in your area or while you're out on the road.
