For the record, I drove that course.... and with a 3500 pound, 9 foot long, hard side TC in the bed of my truck!
True, It's not the kinda thing I'd want to do every day (especially not solo in the boonies), but it was a GREAT learning experience and having a Land Rover instructor in my passenger seat & another one spotting made me more comfortable in the technical parts of the course.
Gordon from TCM was there and even snapped a few photos of my rig which made it into his coverage of OX2013.
This course is reason enough to attend the Overland Expo. You can drive one of Land Rover's vehicles or test the capabilities of your own "wheeler" :)
