- downtheroadExplorerWell, there you go now... some AGREE that it's more difficult and others DISAGREE that it's more difficult. After all, it's the RV Forum. (now lets discuss who makes the best trucks and we will get only 1 opinion....:))
So, my revised answer is to go ahead and wax your rig and report back with your opinion. - jfkmkExplorer

Waxing is extra hard because of all the ridges in the siding.
I don't agree with this at all. I wax my aluminum sided trailer twice a year and dont find it hard at all, let alone "extra hard". Obviously, when you apply the wax you can't do so in a circular motion like on a flat sided trailer. Other than that, there's no difference between the two. - dadmomhExplorerAgree, it'll be a bigger job than the smooth side. We use just a standard car wash product - think we have Turtle Wax Car Wash right now. DH has a wax, believe it's noted as being for using a buffer and it is very fast, easy and does a great job. DO NOT USE A BUFFER AROUND THE EDGES OR OVER YOUR DECALS. In your case, a buffer may not work at all. Just a good wax and while you're at it, check caulking and other things that may need attention. Good time to find things before they cause problems.
