washing dishes-is grease and food safe down sink drain?

I don't put anything down the drain except soapy water. When I drain stuff, I put it in plastic bags or leftover bottles or cans. I wipe all the dishes and cookware with paper towels. If you aren't careful, the gray tank can smell worse than the black tank!
