In terms of going all paper and plastic all the time: i use paper plates for certain hard to clean entres, but that's it. Our landfills will love you but many of us... not so much.
I wholeheartedly agree. Imagine pulling into a campsite with fresh puddles of dirty, sudsy water on the edge of it. My dog would be in it immediately. (If my kids were little, they would be, too.) Bleah. Practice courtesy towards other campers and good stewardship of the great outdoors. We scrape into the garbage, then wash our dishes in a small tub and flush the dirty water down the toilet as others have recommended. Paper plates are used sparingly.
