Washing the BEAST

Wow, I am bushed! Just got done washing the truck and camper. I am doing it the old fashioned way, bucket, sponge and a brush on a pole.
Then their is the drying! Holy Mackrel!

Anybody doing anything different?
  • X@ on the leaf blower. I have a Stil backpack unit and I use it on the RV, boat and autos to blow off the water. It actually works well and prevents the dreaded waterspots
  • As far as the drying part, I use my leaf blower. I read about using it on a Harley forum and it worked so well I now use it on everything. Finish off with a microfiber towel on any leftover drips....won't be many.
  • A weed blower works great for drying and is quick too.
  • Be glad you have a pole for the brush! I do it the same way, but I do not bother to dry, either.

I dry by driving down the road about 60-70 mph and then dry off what didn't blow off.
