Washing TT roof, why do I get white dusty streaks after?

I washed our new to us TT last fall prior to winterizing (nothing fancy, '05 Fleetwood Pioneer 18T6). When I washed the roof with Camco's rubber roof cleaner and conditioner, I got white dusty streak...

May well be the erosion you alluded to in your original post then. Hard to tell. I would think if it was coming from the roof then if you rubbed your finger on the roof and there is a white residue remaining on your finger you'd have the answer.
