Washing TT roof, why do I get white dusty streaks after?

I washed our new to us TT last fall prior to winterizing (nothing fancy, '05 Fleetwood Pioneer 18T6). When I washed the roof with Camco's rubber roof cleaner and conditioner, I got white dusty streak...

What you are seeing would indicate the roof is EPDM. The sluffing off is normal but is increased by being too agressive when cleaning.
One should also be careful not to use any products containing petroleum or citric acid on EPDM roofing.
