Washing TT roof, why do I get white dusty streaks after?

I washed our new to us TT last fall prior to winterizing (nothing fancy, '05 Fleetwood Pioneer 18T6). When I washed the roof with Camco's rubber roof cleaner and conditioner, I got white dusty streak...

Mother Nature is not happy with south eastern Ontario. 70 degrees Fahrenheit on Sunday, dried our freshly washed clothes on the line. Tuesday morning, back into a winter wonderland.

The clothes pins work fantastic! I didn't get to wax the freshly washed trailer, but the streaking is cut down to almost nothing with the pins. Just an awesome tip, I wish I could thank the poster than mentioned it first.
