As Hanibal posted, the numbers are astronomical with the Cummins power plant, be it in a pickup, bus, or boat.
I will say Cummins most likely saved Dodge Ram truck from a loss of one manufacture. I'm pretty sure having one less HD truck in the market would be a decline in your own preferred truck choice. Number 3 pushes harder making 1 & 2 perform better.
Good gosh we have enough hate in this world , we really don't need any more unless it's truly deserved.
You can also thank Lee Iacocca for making the Dodge/Cummins relationship happen and most likely saving the Dodge truck because their gas engines at that time were piss poor!
