That was about 24 years ago and we have had many many trucks for both personal and business use and can't remember every detail spec on all of them. I had a business to run and a family to spend time with and did! My reference to L.P. is generic as meaning the fuel delivery pump. Much easier to remember particulars if you have owned only one or two brands of vehicles or just a few various vehicles. That many problems with a truck in just under 40K and nobody using it should tell you why it was sold.
I do know that we had purchased or leased 21 vehicles from one dealer alone over the years before the dealer sold out and retired. Didn't like the new owner one bit and delt elswhere after that. He had no idea how important smaller town repeat business is as he came from a very large population city where "if you don't buy the vehicle somebody else will be here in 15 minutes and will buy it". He also got rid of the higher paid long time excellent service techs there and replaced them with cheap half trained wet behind the ears yo yo's. Nearly lost the business before he started to get the message but I/we were totally turned off! Eventually lost or sold all 3 dealerships he had and nobody misses him.
