Did a quick search and found that the '89-90 didn't have the troublesome lift pump of the 98.5 to '02 VP44 era but instead a very reliable mechanical fuel pump eh? Kinda pulled some common problems out of the air and made of a case for argument against the Dodge/Cummins? Carry on...
Like I said
“Why is it they are soooooo interested in giving information on something they would never own, let alone knowing nothing about .”
Thanks for proving my point!
BTW here are some water pump prices. Maybe a half hour job with the Cummins, about 4 hours with a Duramax and you’ll also need to buy the flywheel lock. But we all know they didn’t have over-heating issues :W
But if they do overheat, we can find video proof of one intentionally errantly loaded running in limp mode that is able to pull up to a Cummins at highway speeds. :P
Cummins 5.9 water pump price
Mine is still original I might add., and weap hole is still clear.
Duramax 01-05 water pump price
Foot meet mouth :E
On edit....
Here is the cost of a 89-93 Cummins water pump
