- surveyorjpExplorerIs there a doctor in the house?
Typing more letters than the other guy still does not make inaccurate, or completely false statements into facts.
Some fine folks need to go back and and dig deeper into the financials of their own favorite brand, and the financials of Chrysler in 1998 versus 2008, and educate themselves about what REALLY happened. The sucking sound was coming from Europe, not this side of the pond.
Resorting to personal attacks, is the first sign you've lost the debate.
Marty must be out of town.
Cool video, funny thread. - travelnutzExplorer III'm not a blind cheerleader fan of or for any particular brand or engine etc. I am a cheerleader fan for the actual facts and the truth as documented indisputable data has established over designated time periods backed by consumer demand. Not overblown loose lip claims or falsely exaggerated wannbe bragging to make something into something it is not. Sales numbers amongst the price ocmpetitive competition almost always tells it like it really is. The buying public isn't as dumb as many various brand pushers think they are. They simply vote with their wallets year after year after year as it should be. If something sells less than the competitions there has to be a reason and the buying public seems to know the reasons. It's the very long established and proven law of supply and demand. An intelligent manufacturer does not vastly over supply beyond the actual demand as doing so will bring certain financial disaster.
This has nothing to do with me! I'm only the messenger of the documented established and written facts. However, some people can't read or accept facts because perhaps they do not want to! Yes it's a thick forest but some can't see it because of all the trees. Enjoy! - Bionic_ManExplorerNutz, I think we all get that you are not a Cummins fan. Perhaps it's time for you to move along.
- travelnutzExplorer IIPoor resale value was and is a deductible business loss if company owned or leased and is fully deductible from the company taxible bottomline. Not a personal loss! The loss cost me nothing personally! So is the cost of having a dealer service/repair business do any repairs needed deductible and that's why it done that way. A business isn't allowed to bill itself with an invoice for the labor or wages/cost to go get parts needed or the labor hours required to do repairs directly by invoice but outside vendor labor is billed by invoice and fully deductible. The required repair parts are always deductible. When your tax is 50% plus each year on profit made, it gets your attention real fast. Business owners, accountants, and CPA's know the rules and work with them. Hourly employees etc have no idea what's involved it running a successful business operation. All they care is that they get their paychecks!
Besides, an engineering office doesn't have grease monkeys like our forum yo yo and in perhaps dirty/grimey clothes standing around just waiting to fix a vehicle should it be required. An office is a dressup clean place not a wrench jerking greasiy/dirty back room or under construction area. Think about that next time you go to an office or place that is more professional than an automotive service garage! Perhaps at a dentist, a bank, an insurance office, or even to a doctor, let alone your favorite meat counter or the restaurant you frequent.
Backyard mechanics are the main ones doing their own repairs as they cannot get a tax advantage and are trying to save a buck by doing their own oil changes and various repairs to their vehicles. They can save money but doing the same actually costs a business money. - 45RicochetExplorerGood going Dodge/Cummins thread killer. Chalk another one up. Staying on subject, really?????????? You need help.
I have nothing against GM, well until I met you.
Get over your loss like most of us have from time to time. It is part of doing business as a leader. I might add it couldn't have happened to a " nicer guy". - travelnutzExplorer IIHannibal,
Only someone with your knowledge and mental ability would try to change the Cummins 5.9 diesel non-existent glow plugs. How many time have you tried to do it already? ever had success yet? No wonder you "work for the man" as a gofer goofer! - JarlaxleExplorer II

Hannibal,
I have not and do not fabricate stories about any vehicles etc nor do I need to as I have the business's documents still in a storage vault to back up my forum words including VIN numbers and full accounting records as required by law and the IRS. You have no idea what that's like! I wouldn't spend one minute to find or post any vehicle owned etc document for a caustic light in the loafer ring in the nose grease monkey like you as it's NONE of your business! You know absolutely nothing about my vehicles nor probably the member's others you disparage but you still post your BS.
You also make and have made many charges againsty others on this forum often and it's past time for you to grow up. You type so many things that are blatantly false and you know nothing about and you know certainly it's true or could you be that dumb? Your constant parsing and altering of descriptions is very sickening and show your poorly eduucated adolescence. Go to your work for "the man" and keep your nose out of things on the forum that have nothing to do with you, little boy!

Fast Mopar,
DUDE! Tell your buddy Hannibal as he's the one who posted about something on an owned vehicle issues he didn't like, and is a member who knows nothing about it! He stuck his nose in as usual with caustic words and charges where it had no place in even being.
Yes, this thread is about the Cummins bulid and sales and that's what my posts where about with documented facts until the usual Hannibal and the like tried to alter it with their usual caustic BS. Why it it these members can't stand hearing the truth and documented facts? The real world educated people knows the truth and recognizes documented facts!
You were one step away from claiming you had to have the glow plugs changed in your 89, or was it 90 Dodge Cummins. Ah who knows. You sure don't. Is it senility or have you always been clueless? :B - HannibalExplorer

You really need to get over yourself. Nobody cares how great you think you are. So you hate Dodge and Cummins. We get it. I can't believe you're childish enough at your elderly age to still be going on at such length about being called out on your fabrication.:S
