I would recommend taking a look at it, size up the job then perhaps offer $1500-$1800 and see if they will come down. Hopefully you might be able to talk them down to $2000. But keep in mind there is a good chance you are going to put $1000 or more into materials...
I'm going to hold of on this for a few months. The guy told me many people have been calling about the trailer and if that's true then it will be there for a while since no one wants a project trailer.
I'm hoping they will get fed up and lower it to about $1500 to get it out before the winter. For that price even if I didn't fix it up and used it for 2-3 years before it fell apart then it still would have cost me much less then renting cottages at a grand a week and staying in hotels.
