I did casually ask him if they'd take any less and he said no. And it's a toss up because the store is an hour and a half from me so it would be nice to know before I do the drive if they won't haggle at all. I'll be speaking to the salesman on Monday over the phone and maybe I'll just mention to him what I can comfortably give him in cash without even looking at it
You need to see it in person. What the salesman describes as minor damage is probably not. I would prepare myself for gutting out a couple of walls and replacing some of the floor. That may prove to be a lot of work.
