I have the "whole house" filter under the bathroom sink. Mine is easy to get to. I only put a filter in if I'm going to be drawing water out of the freshwater tank. Other wise any other time I use an external filter from anywhere I can get it for $10. I also have a drinking water filter in the kitchen sink.
