water heater on 12 volt with gas
2011 keystone sprinter, I have never used heater or water heater on 12 volt battery with gas, do I have to do anything to get it to light or run on gas?

Do you have the model number for your water heater? Should be easy to look up with that. Or you could just flip the switch to turn on your water heater with gas (after making sure the tank is full) and listen for clicking sounds as it tries to light. If no clicking sounds you probably need to light a pilot manually.
