At dealership when she did the walk through, when it came to the water heater, she just rolled her eyes. This spring,my wife asked them if there was a trick, they said maybe increasing the pressure. My wife told them I was about to change it out, the tech replied that was a good idea. They wanted over $1000,$550 for the unit, on line $325 with door.
Doing a long search, I read that if there is any air in the system, turning the cold would turn it on. For us it would also then shut down. Same for the hot.
