water line crimper
I need to replace the fitting on my waterline going to my toilet. is there a crimpimg tool I can buy to attach a new fitting to the line or can I just use hose clamps? thanks

Some hardware places 'rent/loan' tools.....you would need a PEX crimp tool
NO.....hose clamp will NOT work on PEX pipe
Sharkbite (Home Depot) Gatorbite (Lowes) has fittings that just snap on
You cut the crimp off/make sure end of PEX has a straight cut/no burrs and then just push fitting on.
Now would be a good time to install a shut-off valve so toilet can be isolated without having to secure all water to rig.
