If you found 'parts' for the Shurflo 2008 Model pump they are very old parts........New old stock (NOS) refers to obsolete equipment, or original parts (components) for obsolete equipment, that have never been sold at retail.
In other words.....sitting on a shelf somewhere cause Shurflo discontinued production several years ago.
